Продолжительность установки одного импланта зависит от выбранного метода, через прокол в десне или путем отслоения десневого лоскута и последующего наложения швов. В среднем, весь процесс занимает порядка 20 минут.
Основными причинами отторжения импланта на разных сроках считаются воспалительный процесс, охватывающий окружающие имплант ткани, его перегрузка, недостатки гигиены полости рта, врачебные ошибки, вредные привычки, низкое качество имплантационной системы, сопутствующая патология.
После утери зуба неизбежно развивается атрофия костной ткани, и использование съемного протеза никак не замедляет этот процесс. В то же время, своевременной установкой имплантов удастся избежать такого осложнения. В этом – одно из преимуществ данной технологии.
Если удастся воспользоваться методом быстрой имплантации, то имплант будет установлен в лунку удаленного зуба. Однако для этого должен быть соблюден ряд требований, касающихся, как параметров челюстной кости, так и общего состояния полости рта и здоровья пациента. На решение о проведении базальной имплантации может повлиять и никотиновая зависимость пациента.
Показатели приживляемости имплантов очень разнятся в зависимости от характеристик используемых моделей, состояния челюстной кости и здоровья пациента, корректности выполнения процедуры, соблюдения рекомендаций после имплантации. Как правило, остеоинтеграция проходит быстрее на нижней челюсти.
